What I learned from Camp..

One of the many things i learned from camp was that trusting in your teamates and being able to forgive them is very important in a DG. In all the games and especially during the Nightwalk, all of us had to trust one another to do his/her best, which was why we were able to work so well together.
We all walked so fast during the Nightwalk and had no hiccups along the journey as we relayed messages quickly but mainly because all of us had faith that the others would not lead us into danger, thus we had the courage to walk fast, not slow and timidly.
Also, during the the camp every one of us made mistakes or screwed up somewhere or another. Be it during the games or saying or doing something that was offensive to our friends. All these were opportunities to extend grace and forgive each other. Which i learned was not easy!
Another main thing i learned was how important it is to not give up. Every time we faced problems, (we faced a lot of problems) we had to have faith and see the end result, not how impossible the problem was. All of us, at different points in time, were almost ready to give up, and i'm glad that Extreme/Ulong always encouraged each other to never give up. i think that played a major part in us making it through the camp alive.
In a nutshell, i am positive that Extreme/Ulong has grown even closer and more united through this camp. i'm sure we will all continue to grow, i feel excited just thinking of what we can all do together in the future. :P
