Yoo guys!

Its Monday D: and school just started.

I just got back my maths results.

(Ugh. I thought I did super badly cos the ~~stupid~~ very smart teacher made it seem as though half the class failed. tsk.)

I got 24/40 during the last exam and was super sad cos my maths seemed to be sliding downnnn and getting worse with each year. Then for this exam, I prayed that God give me wisdom and understanding to do well in my paper and also anointed it with anointing oil :D guess what! This time round, I got 31/40 :D:D:D YAY!

oh oh oh that's not all. That's a 7 mark increase if you realised and I couldn't help but thank Him for His perfect offering at the cross that allowed this to happened. Plus, I was so bored during maths that I actually tried this out. I divided 31/40 and I was so amazed by what I got. In decimal form, it was actually 0.775. ISN'T THAT JUST SO AWESOME! 2 times of perfection which ended with grace :)

God in all His power, in all His wisdom and might.. being the creator of all things, has never need to suffer. He created all things, He owned everything. Suffering was never an emotion He has experience before nor does He ever need to.

But He did, in His love for us. He suffered in seeing us, His children being lost. He suffered the heartbreak of offering up His own son. He suffered the heartbreak of the punishment He had to unleash on His own son. He suffered the heartbreak of putting sins and diseases on His own son.

And Jesus in His love for us.. suffered and died of a broken heart. The heart that received all the rejection and reproach we would ever face in our own lives.. He took it all upon Himself.

God the Father, God the Son.. their lives were fine. They were happy with each other, their days were filled with joy. Life in heaven was perfect for them.

Yet for us.. they both took on suffering. We who were of no use to Him, We who were in our sins and who can't even save ourselves.. We who were lost and couldn't even care that we were lost.. GOD CARED.

Hey guys... just thought that I could share with you some thoughts I've been taking with Daddy God... hope you guys be blessed by it? :)

you know all my years in school.. i always desired to be a prefect. not tat i like catching and disciplining ppl.. becus prefect r the ones being "chosen".. are so called the "role models" and favour and limelight is shine on them. Can I be honest with all of u? I want that too. I want to be chosen. I want to be favored. I want to be the "selected one".

but guess what..? it nv came through. haha. in fact.. I was a bully.. a sleepy head in class.. a trouble maker (from classroom all the way to principal office).. u name it.. i did it. in the natural.. the people were jus shaking their heads at me.

teachers said things like "you won't make it." "you would fail" "you ah.. hopeless la".

But hey guys u know what? In that little heart of mine.. Daddy God saw what was in it. In the natural, all that ppl see was probably dung. But God saw gold. Just like David.. when everyone else saw a shepherd boy, God saw a King.

You know being a leader today is totally by the grace of God. It is like Daddy God telling me.. "Hey son, look. I've chosen you, I've favored you. Remember all those rejection and disqualifcations n how you jus couldnt make it in the past? You can't my son, but I can."

1Cor1:27-" But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty".

At the end of the day.. u know what? I could only say.. Thank you Daddy. Its all by your grace.

What is it you are feeling rejected of today Extreme/EOC ? What is the deep cry in your heart that is unanswered by the things n the world around you?

Fret not, start rejoicing. Your true Father, Daddy God.. has a plan for you. You can rejoice not becus things are not happening or things are ugly... you can rejoice becus it is God Himself who would bring it to past. And manz.. jus like what He did for me.. it is jus so much better n glorious when it is done BY Him and not achieved by myself..

hello!

well, i've got some good news i just gotta share!

my dad had a health checkup and they said that his arteries were blocked, maybe one, two or even more. He had another checkup today to find out more specifically how many arteries were blocked and how serious the condition is. Should his artery(s) be blocked less than 20% he would have to be on oral medication, and should they/it be more than that, he would have to be hospitalised and go through an operation or something. So last night, we had all prayed and laid hands on him. And guess what? When they tried to find his blocked artery(s), they could find nothing! He doesn't even have to be on medication anymore!

Praise The Lord!

so i was studying for my first exam, mother tongue. :P

like btw this was like today LOL.
cos many things happening these few days,
gotta plan for C.O. CIP,
and make a proposal for inter-class games day,
and ANOTHER proposal for council CIP.
so... i was kinda stressed.
WAIT. BACK TO THE POINT. :D
haha, studying for mt...
after like 3 chapters, i was giving up already.. :P
then noticed the 4th chapter had SEVEN words.
and so did the FIRST 3. :)
:) haha!
Daddy God's been trying to tell me to rest. :)

Hi people yesterday my hamster kinda died and I'm of course a bit sad but at the same time relieved that it has to suffer no more cos its like some lao ah gong who is going bald and quite sick liddat (:

Actually I'm not here to talk about how sad I feel but to share something quite interesting. My 1st hamster died when my uncle came over and accidentally killed it (but I dont really blame him) and it was nearing Good Friday/Easter. And guess what? The same for this hamster as in it died 1 week before Good Friday/Easter too O: Maybe it is already saved and would be enjoying Easter in heaven xD

Ok this post is quite random haha :D

Hey! Although Pastor Mark's message was relatively short, and not so easy to understand, i picked up some pointers which i hope would benefit you (:

WE ALL NEED LOVE

Since we were young, our parents had always loved us and were there to care for us, but as we grew up, we don't see the importance of love anymore, and love, was never like before, we always had to perform and achieve good results in whatever we do, to get our parents' love.

Is there a condition to love?
Is love gained by our works?

WE ALWAYS NEED TO FALL BACK TO OUR PARENTS' LOVE.

We keep looking at ourselves, our shortcomings and weaknesses, but well, don't. LOOK AT JESUS!

We keep trying to solve our problems ourselves, and no one is there to help, no one seems to understand, but you know what? God is there to help, God understands!

So why do we look to ourselves?

No one is perfect in this world, but we have a perfect God, that takes care of us, and loves us.

You know what? GOD LOVES YOU NO MATTER WHAT!

No matter how imperfect we are, God still loves us.

Why would God want to save us?
Is it because of what we have done [our works]?
IT'S BECAUSE HE LOVES US!

Jesus is completely sinless, but for us, he was pinned on the cross, because he loved us!
Even at the cross, he thought of us.

If you want to be someone good, don't look at yourself, look to the Lord. For in him we are complete.

He's all man, yet all God.

We can get the best education, best tutors etc. But does that mean we would have a good future?
God has come to give us favour, and a everlasting life!

We are tatooed at the centre of his heart.
For he is personal, and he cares for us.

He WANTS to love you, care for you, and hold him in his arms.

For he is the solution to ALL our problems, and the light in times of darkness.

We have a choice in the Lord.
We don't have a choice of our family, or their background etc.
BUT WE HAVE A CHOICE IN HIM!

We have a choice to invite him in our heart; in our life.

We are created in his image

For his never changing love, IS THE LOVE!

I am a flower quickly fading,
Here today and gone tomorrow.
A wave tossed in the ocean,
A vapor in the wind.
Still you hear me when I'm calling,
Lord you catch me when I'm falling,
And you told me who I am.
I am yours.

Who am I that my God loves me so personally, so deeply?

Oh, i also want to share something with you all. I never could score very well in chinese, in fact, i was always one of the lowest. Sometimes, i wonder why i am in a school which has chinese as its first language. So, we had to do our CA papers, and when i got back my results, I WAS REALLY SHOCKED. I thought i would have either failed, or do very badly. but instead, I scored well, and was one of the highest in my class! It was really by the grace of God. It's only when there's lack, where God's grace can abound! (:

Hey guys since yesterday I have been having a fever + sore throat that turned into cough and back + abit of runny nose and its not fun being sick O: Theres a bowling competition from Monday to Thursday and cant afford to miss it cos its quite important so pray for me! I think theres another round of flu going around cos my friends and classmates are falling sick and even I have it too T.T Gosh I fall sick so easily mannnnn

I'm so excited wahahahhahaha. THAILANDDDDD. And EJ'10!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA. -high on Ribena-

Anyway I was thinking about something my teacher said, about motion sickness ah. It's my first time going on a plane so idk if I'll get air-sickness (or whatever you call motion sickness in the air O:). And we're taking coach rides almost 2-3h (in total) every day, and the road is bumpy and everything...

So anyways, while you're missing me sick while I'm gone, please pray for my well-being and safety k. :D I'm sure you wanna see me back in one piece, and in the pink of health. Heehee. With fried earthworms for you guys. Heehee.

God has NO Plan B.

WE HAVE BEEN BURNED BY FAVOUR!
People who think this way, do not think that God is using them, but blessing them with UNMERITED FAVOUR !!!

"Greater that he is IN ME, than he is in the WORLD. "

Moses is an example how God can recycle failure! There are many other examples in the bible. We may be failures at first, however the LORD recycles failure, n turn us into BLESSINGS to others!

>Pastor stated 5 IMPORTANT points, Here they are:
1. The treasure dwells in the earthen vessel.
2. Christianity would be easy if they werent any Humanity .

Exodus 32 v 15-20
->In the one undisciplined emotion, Moses broke sth that God entrusted him after 80 years of God entrusted his life, however, God still gave him a second chance. God RECYCLED Moses. GOD FORGAVE OUT SINS ALREADY!!! Moses broke all of the ten conmandments, not literally, as in he BROKE them, get it? HAHA >>> God can handle your Honesty, do not be afraid.

GOD ALREADY KNOWS!! just be honest with him.

Exodus 34 v 1
Our failure is not a problem, but our pride is.

John 21 v 7
God can handle our HONESTY!
God has already seen us 'naked' without all the 'make-up'(the pretending). Divine make-up has been prepared by God for US!

3.Never confuse consequence with judgement.

Exodus 34 v 2,4
->God cuts the 1st step, so that we can cut the 2nd step.

Learn from the consequences, accept them, but never dwell on it.

Romans 8-> To learn about your salvation. No seperation or condemnation.

4.When God deals with you about your mistakes, he deals with you CONFIDENTIALLY.

Dont let your opinion of others control you, be concerned what people say YOU THINK!
Dont be concerned with what people think, be concern with what Heaven KNOWS!

5. By MERCY & GRACE, God is not angry with you!

Never underestimate the POWER<-(negates the law) of MERCY.

->The Lord stood WITH him(Moses) there.
->He is longsuffering, gracious, loyal to love, slow to anger, and is has abouding love and faithfulness. xD

It's time to forget what God has given(FORGET THE LAW!! not the great things he has done in our lives okay!!)

Tha law HAD departed as it had difficulty maintaining in the presence of GRACE. One has to leave. Grace n Law cannot CO-EXIST.

God wrote PLAN A, not plan B.

It's awful slippery out there with all your failures, it's time for you to be RECYCLED.

Hey i just wanted to share something. Last night i was reading the message bible version of Isaiah 55 9, which says" God's decree: "For as the sky soars high above earth, so the way I work surpasses the way you work, and the way I think is beyond the way you think. Just as rain and snow descend from the skies and don't go back until they've watered the earth, doing their work of making things grow and blossom, producing seed for farmers for the hungry, SO WILL THE WORDS THAT COME OUT OF MY MOUTH NOT COME BACK EMPTY HANDED. They'll do the work I sent them to do, they'll do the work I sent them to do, they'll complete the assignment I gave them. "

This verse compares the power and sureness of God's words to the constance and sureness of the rain. Isnt that cool! God's words have power in your life. It is a fact. So keep on confessing the word and dont lose hope! Your miracle will come! God will see you through! Everything will be alright!

Remember that time I told everyone the wonderful awesome news that I could go to Thailand for my school's Special Week this year? Yeah, despite all the stuff that was thrown at me (the money, the overwhelming responses, etc) I still got into the 40 that were going to Thailand, of course none other but by God's grace, hee.

But, yesterday during a briefing my teacher i/c told us that the price could shoot up a few hundred more than we were told last year, because oil prices have been rising lately and the flights to and fro + almost-daily coach rides need fuel, so the total cost would probably go up. :\

So, people, I need you all to pray for+with me that the oil prices will go down, because the current estimated prices are just mad crazy skyhigh expensive. :(

Anyway I'll be trusting God that we won't have to pay the new estimated price, but the one shown last year, because He is the creator of all things and there is nothing that He cannot do for us. :D And this post will be a testament when oil prices DO go down and I pay less than I was told I needed to. :D:D:D:D

Today I was sitting in class, waiting for the teacher to arrive, when what Lionel posted on FB the other day struck me, and I asked myself, "Where would I be and what would I be like, if I hadn't known God, if I hadn't experienced Him so radically, if I hadn't had awesome friends like those in E.O.treme and awesome leaders like those in DARE?" I would be some depressed kid, maybe even dead. How awesome is the Lord, for blessing me so abundantly with all of you? ♥♥♥

want you guys to know that you are not alone. every step of your journey im here with you. as long as you are in Extreme/EOC you are under me and you are under my care! and more than that, you are under the watch and care of Jesus who never ceases in caring for you, watching over you and making sure all things are working for YOUR GOOD.

all of you are Daddy God's beloved. He loves you dearly and with an everlasting love. You belong to the person whose Name is above every other name. Stress, Poor relationship with friends, Rejection, Homework, Test and every other thing has to bow down and give way to the Name of Jesus.

Does your problem has a name? Fatigue is a name. Stress is a name. If it has a name, know that the name of Jesus is greater than it and today Jesus loves you and is ever ready to come into your situation to save you.

Praise God,

Today I had quite a long day... I forgot my routine n got scolded by my Dance CCA seniors T-T. I came home feeling down n thinking why was I so lousy at remembering things. then after I ate my lunch n bathed I wanted to play the guitar n unknowingly I played ''By your side'' by tenth avenue north. i suddenly realised the lyrics. Why are you striving these days.... why are you trying to earn grace! haha after I played that song I didn't realise until about an hour later.

I was still feeling abit sad so I decided to play my computer but i became bored after awhile. after that, i suddenly wanted to read Unmerited favor book. I read chapter 5 n it was talking about how when you have Jesus' presence n u know it it will empower you n take away all disappointment and sadness!!! It really spoke to me n I almost cried. I also remembered that on the way back home by bus I was thinking about how bad the devil was. And I read on.... I came across this page saying that u should not magnify how big the devil is but magnify how big JESUS is! Haha hope some of you will get revelations from this testimony cos' its the first day of school n all. All the glory to Jesus!!

Merry Christmas!.. in 364 days :D heh anyway I wanted to share something that struck me yesterday. I was baking a brownie with my mum and you know you have to put it in the oven then it will 'rise' a little. When we took it out it was a bit puffy on the surface and my mum commented that it looked like the mountainous terrain with all the slopes and stuff. And suddenly I was reminded out the lyrics from 'I could sing of Your love forever'.

Over the mountains and the sea

and let the Healer set me free
I'm happy to be in the truth
and I will daily lift my hands

The last part 'when Your love came down' really made me think of why we celebrated Christmas in the first place xD

P.S. Oh wait I forgot to add that a few years ago we also baked a brownie but it was too dry (perhaps we baked it for too long?) and it cracked but was still edible. Yesterdays one was a bit dry but it didnt crack and was yummy hehheh :D

Was it a mere coincidence that the successfully baked brownie was puffy?

hello people! i was reminded of giving thanks today, and about what happened during trainnig.. yes the running thing again.. (its really tiring ok.. )

ok. i will tell you what happened

1st run: i reminded myself that i am god's child and because of that i will soar like an eagle! haha.. and of course he is moving my legs
..timing:1.33 min:) thank you jesus

2nd run:i was in a rush cus i was still kinda tired so i "tried my best"
thats why ikinda deproved by 7sec! :O its only god who can help me to get thru this kind of thing..
..timing:1.40min :|

3rd run : i thanked god for giving me a good timing for the first run.. and i trusted god to maintain my timing..
AND BY HIS GRACE.. my timing: 1.35 min

see the dif in results? so let's thank god.. and involve jesus in everything we do!

o yes! another expectation met! (our god is just amazing ^^) i asked for a nice christmas this year.. becus the apst few years.. all we did is just go to orchard to see the lights.. watch countdowns.. and whoo ._. open presents and sleep. and on christmas.. just stay at home to watch tv.. its just.. meaningless o_o
but jesus reminded me the reason we celevbrate chrsitmas.. and he arranged lotsa christmas parties with you awesome ppl (yes i mean it!) to make my christmas fun ..
btw my parents are in israel :) so cant spend christmas with them.. jesus really knows how to fill up the empty spaces in my life ;D

haha.. ever since camp.. i have had a fresh revelation of god's love(one of my many expectations)

hello! today i had training and it was really crazy. we had 2 weeks of break.. and at first i tot that my stamina will drop really really badly..

but before training i trusted in jesus to keep me fit ..
cus i had a bad feeling of wat we were gonna do during training..

so we had to time our runs during training.. AND ITS INSANE.
during the run i trusted jesus to help me run faster .. and YES HE DID ;D

i maintained the same timing for the first 2 runs :D

while the others were suffering the effects of 2weeks-no-training-but-still-got-exercise-a-bit.

yes.. god's grace means so much to me .. because i didnt do anything to deserve to run really really well today. but when i put my faith in him and not concentrate on my abilities..

Hey Guys!!!

SUP, I'm still hyper from camp haha lol....oh wait i'm like this most of the time XD. Hey I just read through my expectations again n guess wad? ALL MY EXPECTATIONS CAME TRUE!!!!!! God is sooooooo good XD. I can list out my expectations and tell you what God did in my life :D.

1. I want to know more about God-I definately know more about God know XD Thank you Jesus for impacting my life through pastor benjamin's message. :D

2. I want to make more friends and get closer to the friends that i have now :D-I made ALOT of new friends and I got closer to the friends I have now, as some of you can identify with. :D

3. I want to have more wisdom n favour-I hear God speaking in my life now and more people are finding favor in me now :D

4. I want to have an extremely fun time at camp :D-U know my ans XD

5. I want to learn things that would be useful to me and let them manifest in my life-I learnt that love is unresistable and when you are talking to your friend about Jesus don't make it sound like a lecturing session and instead show him thge love of God :D

6. I want my guitar skills to improve by ALOT and touch the lives of people around the world :D-You know the part where I was plaing the guitar for u guys? i usually can't play that well infront of people and im believing God for the touching the lives of people part to come soon :D

7. I want my singing to improve and touch the lives of people too- well some songs I couldn't sing during camp but when I went home and rested my voice for awhile, my singing suddenly improved!! Praise Jesus some songs that i couldn't sing last time cos it was too low is chicken feet to me now!! :D I'm being proud....Proud of Jesus!!! :D

8. I want my friends to be touched by Jesus- I can't count the number of ppl who cried while pastor prayed for us during camp alot of boys including me cried, I mean it takes alot of courage to cry infront of so many ppl but with God nothing is impossible. ''Real man cry.'' adapted from Thaddeus' sayings :D

9. I want ppl who felt left out last time be more connected with the DG :D-I'm not sure what to say but I can say a certain someone feels more connected with us now :D

10. I want to have a better relationship with my family and spend more time with them- I think I explained this before but nvm I'll say it again cos that was only in camp n not everyone in our DG heard :D, lately (before camp) I have been going out with my friends alot and not spending much time with my family but after pastor benjamin preached a certain message in camp I have been spending more time with my family and the relationship with them has gotten much better, especially with my little sis :D

Well actually I have more but some of them is quite private so I don't want to post them haha. Hope that someone gets blessed by this post :D

As a camper:
God has blessed me by EXPERIENCING HIS LOVE. I learnt about IDENTITY, about EVERLASTING ACCEPTANCE and i have encounted JESUS intimately through PRAISE AND WORSHIP and MINISTERING.

P.S.- P&W was AWESOME. Espeacially HEAD BANG. WWHHHOOO... hehehe :)
And Ministering, for me, was just a God's love experience :)

As a Mightyman:
God has revealed the secret of success to me, which is KNOWING and UNDERSTANING the Lord that brings me success. That even as a Mightyman, i am not here because i have might or i am good. but because i have HIM in my life. This is GRACE and UNDERSTANDING FAVOUR. Also, he has shown me the power of winning hearts, which is loving people. Love is what you guys need, and i need it too.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE MAKE THE WORLD GO ROUND!!!

Always remember this:
God doesn't need us. He has more enough angles. But each time the invitation opens for us to go and serve him ... it is always because he wants to pour so much more into our lives and bless us!

I believe that we all recieved a special portion of blessing. In fact, an extra double portion. Important notes for camp.

Hey Beloveds! :)

Pls note the following if you're gg for EJ Camp :)

1) Bring 3 sets of dark coloured Tshirts instead of 2. Understand that your briefing notes only indicated 2 sets. You'll get dirty during the games, so I suggest you bring 3 pair of shorts too. Reason for 3 is because there would be teambonding games too which they didnt mention.

2) Goggles. You will not be allowed to take part in the games if you don't have goggles. Those of you who can't see without goggles, pls get those with degrees.

3) Bible and Notebook

4) Sandals for games. Slippers not allowed. I won't recommend shoes also cus its gonna smell real bad when it gets wet.

5) Shoes for service. No slippers allowed during service.

6) Swim wear. You would need to wear your swim wear on the first day inside, and dark coloured clothings on the outside. Gonna get into somewhere REALLLY wet.

PS: I know your briefing notes didnt state the full amount of clothes. It is up to you to estimate the amount you need for 4 days.

I would recommend 4 sets of clean t shirts + 2 sets of clean bermudas(since clean berms can wear for 2 days b4 chging) for services+meals. 3 sets of sports attire for the dirty n wet games. And maybe a set of pyjamas? ha ha ha.

Its up to you. Just don't appear for meals or service stinky n smelly. You gotta be FRESH for service!

This is my first post ever, so i hope it will bless someone :D I guess only Lionel and i went for the healing service,so im posting my notes so everyone can see what they missed XD. By the way the notes are very short because most of the service was worship and healing.

Healing service 25 nov

Proverbs 17 22-A cheerful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones

Listening of the gospel is the greatest investment

Healing is God's will for you

Read the bible relating it to Jesus

Jesus is the exact representation of God

Matthew 12 15-GREAT MULTITUDES followed him, and he healed ALL their sick

Oh yes do you know how wondrous Salonpas is! Zomg it's some big rectangle plaster-thing that you paste on an area (like your back) that is in pain and then there's heat (A LOT OF HEAT!) and then no more pain! Ahhhh. Must've stretched myself too vigorously today, HAHAHAHA. EXTENDED PRAISE & WORSHIP FTW BB. :D:D:D:D

NB: Salonpas is truly a gift from God wahahahaha. Actually everything is, but nevermind. :D:D:D

SO! I'll just type whatever's in my notebook. o: Might not link together because I also wrote down stuff that Pastor said, and yadda yadda. Whoooooo.

God knows the potential inside of me, thus He unleashes His grace into my life to unleash that potential. WE ARE DESTINED TO REIGN! WHOO! :D

Christianity is not about DOING, but about what He has DONE for us. :) It is not a RELIGION, but a RELATIONSHIP with Him! :D:D:D

And the one thing that stops grace from flowing into our life is religion/legalism. The opposition Jesus faced in His life was not the wayward people (sinners, prostitutes, tax collectors, etc) but the religious leaders and the legalistic, I-am-mightier-than-you people (like the Pharisees).

(Somewhere in the middle... out comes a) Correction is always out of love! (I don't know how that got there, or what that has to do with the legalism thing. Anywhoos. Good to know. :D:D:D)

In Luke 15, Jesus shared the parable of the prodigal son NOT for the sinners in the crowd (although it does portray how Abba Daddy still loves us although we sin), but for the religious leaders (portrayed by the elder brother).

If you want something before its season or before the time is right to receive, you will simply waste it away. (Like the younger brother wanting his inheritance before his father had even passed on.) That is why God doesn't always answer all your prayers instantly, but instead only when the time is right for you to receive.

Do not build your self-esteem/identity on what YOU do, but on WHO your Father is, and what HE has done for you! Don't be like the elder brother, complaining that you have toiled so hard for naught - instead, see that you are ALWAYS with God, and that what He has is also yours!

The son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.'
- Luke 15:21

Know that you are always heard by God. Have the identity that you are His beloved child in Christ, and that you can always call Him FATHER!

But the father said to his servants, 'Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.
- Luke 15:22

When you let God into your life, you are clothed with the robe of righteousness ("best robe"). He provides for your every need (the "ring" speaks of authority and provision), and protects you from whatever bad that comes your way, by putting "sandals on (your) feet", because only the SONS have sandals on their feet. :D

God is your identity and your provision~!

The Christian life is not about RIGHT and WRONG, it's about DEATH and LIFE. When God enters your life, He breathes His life into you - the God kind of life! :D And there is music, dancing and merry-making in the House of God!

I JUMP AND MAKE MERRY FOR I HAVE GOD'S KIND OF LIFE IN ME!

Religion makes you a very angry person, because it makes you always wants to justify yourself and your actions. But Christianity is a relationship with God, and not a religion! :) He pours His super-abounding grace and favour into our lives because He knows we NEED it. 8D

Whoo, to end off this post: I can't help but do RIGHTEOUS works for I am the righteousness of God in Christ! :)

DARE SERVICE THIS SATURDAY!

YO PEOPLE! GET EXCITED! THERE'S DARE SERVICE THIS SATURDAY, THE 21st. YES, 2 DARE SERVICES IN A ROW. ISN'T THAT AWESOME?

okay, here are some points to take note:

- There would be EXTENDED praise and worship, that means service would start at 2.00 p.m. sharp, instead of 2.30 p.m. So, we'll be meeting at 1.40 p.m. outside the rock auditorium. Please try to be punctual, we want to get good seats ;D [come on, get up on your feet and praise the Lord! ;D]

- After service, there would be a briefing for all EJ campers! So if you are coming for the camp, please do stay back from 5-6 p.m. [EJ campers! aren't you excited for EJ camp?]

- For Luke's birthday, we will be going there after the brefing. For those that aren't going for the briefing, do wait for the rest to finish, and we'll all go together.

Restoration!! :D

Hey people, still remember what was shared at DARE on saturday?

Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you.

Zechariah 9:12

One of the main points of Pastor's message was restoration. God restores! Joel 2:25 says that He will restore to you the years that the locusts have eaten, and Acts 3:21 says that God will restore all things before Jesus returns!

Even under the old covenant, God always restored much more than what his people had lost. So, since we are under the new covenant, think about how much MORE our restoration will be because of Jesus!!:D

Judges 16:4-30 tells us about Samson and Delilah. When Delilah betrayed Samson, he was captured by the Philistines and became a grinder in the prison (Judges 16:21). That was about the worst time in his life. Yet, we see in the next verse how God restores Samson. His hair begins to grow again! Eventually, Samson kills more Philistines by destroying the temple than he killed in his lifetime. Tentatively, the plan is a play + band. We can't decide what we want by ourselves. So, we gotta meet up with EZIO & ERASMUS to see what are their opinions too. What most ppl have agreed is play+band. Encourage you to not avoid what is unfamiliar or seemingly "unfun" to you. Step out of your comfort zone =)

In the spirit of encouraging academic excellence among you guys, DARE will be awarding youths who have made academic improvements in 2009. Therefore, DARE will be collating your MYEs and EOYs 2009 results. For those of you who do not have MYEs 2009, DARE will take your EOYs 2008 to compare with your EOYs 2009.

If you are keen, you have to fill up the Academic Results Template. You need to key in your name, scores, grades and no. of subjects you take. Dare will also need you to photocopy your report book for MYE & EOY 2009 for result verification, especially when they decide the winners for the improvement award.

Last year, an ipod nano was given out. Lemme know if you are keen, I'll email you the form. Thanks Catman aka Mr Unlimited SMS, you are a blessing to the DG! :)

Hey wassup,

I thank God for being so good to not only me but the people around me :D. Just yesterday while running around Suntec City with Sean and waiting for Lionel to come, I met my classmate Kai Sen outside the rock. It was amazing that he was going to church as he always swears and bullies other people. I pray that God will change his life through Pastor Prince's message and the other ppl in this church :D especially from DARE. I'm planning to ask him to go to DARE :D

There another kid from my class which I invited to go to New Creation. He used to be all dull n emo but now i can really see the change in him even though he only attended one service. He smiles more often n I'm currently asking him to join DARE. God just touched a few of my most unlikely to go to church people in my class :D

I thank God that he used me to bless these two people ans letting them hear the gospel of grace I hope that I will be able to bless more people in my class.

I've been telling my whole class what a good church New Creation is and how God has blessed me. I just want to thank God for everything he has done for me and I felt like writing this post :D. God has blessed me so much that my cup has overflowed to other peope around me :D. I'm just so amazed that these two and other people in my class can get impacted by God by just a few words from my mouth! :D

Jesus truly can do amazing things through people and I thank Jesus for the favor he gave to me that people will listen to me. I feel so happy when non-believers get to know the grace message :D well thats all I just wanted to post this so that other people will know that age does not matter, God can bless anybody through anybody! :D

Just like how the closing ceremony of the Olympics is a showcase of the artistic talents of the host nations, our EJ DARElympics Finale Night will be the 2nd installment of DARE God Talent!

Go think of what you all want to do and let me know when I meet you all for Dare on 7th Nov ok! I need to submit your names for the auditions before 10th Nov!

Guidelines for the items are as follows:

· Display the talents God has given you!

· All types of items: song, sound/ voice impersonations, dance, skit, funny actions like squeezing your whole fist into your mouth! etc … it can be a common or uncommon, simple or complex talent - anything!

· Individual or group performances

· A minimum of 5 secs and a maximum of 5-10 minutes per item

· There will be auditions to select the best item

Auditions is on either 25th Nov or 2nd Dec, so keep those days free! :)

I got back my EOY exams results. And i really want to give thanks to the Lord !!!
Before the EOY exams, i prayed for WISDOM and FAVOUR !!!
That God will take care of my WORRIES and FEARS.
I knew that God has my future in his beloved hands and it will be BOOMZ !!!
BOOMZ means that it is GOOD !!! Haha !! :) LOL
Today when i was in my dad's car, going to school, eating a Melted Cheese Sandwitch for breadfast, God just spoke to me telling me that i will be promoted to SECONDARY 2 EXPRESS !!
And I did !!! After i got my result back, i felt EXTREMELY HAPPY !!!
God's grace truly abounds !!! Amen :)

Anyway, nice testimony down there Sabby !!!!

HELLO I DON'T WANT THIS BLOG TO DIE. OH AND I HAVE AN AWESOME TESTIMONY HAHAHAHAHA. I think some of you already know but anyways! Every year my school holds an overseas CIP trip during Term 1 for Sec 2s, as part of a "Special Week". So for the 2010 Sec 2s (me!) we get to choose from like, 7 places.

I really wanted to go to Thailand or China, but the thing is that the prices for these places are outrageously high - $1000 and $1400 respectively. I'm not exactly the richest person alive and as it is, my family has money enough to spare for say, the camps me and my brother attend (which are like, $100-200 each, so ya).

But a trip costing a bomb like this is insanely expensive, especially with the turbulent economy and all that boomz. When I first asked my dad last week if I indicate Thailand and China as my choices, my mum objected immediately because we wouldn't have enough money to pay off the thousand-dollar trips. But the really awesome part came when my dad remembered that a few days ago, he had bought a lottery ticket (he's not an obsessive lottery person, but he just bought for the fun of it I think).

So he went ahead to check the draw results online, AND MY DAD ACTUALLY STRUCK THE LOTTERY! It wasn't a huge sum compared to the jackpot of $1.5m, but it was good enough, so much so the remaining money can even cover the EJ5 camp fees (even if I got chosen for China).

So like my mum said, if we really did strike then she'll allow me to go, so yay I put down the choices and handed my form to my FT this Monday.

But afterward, I found out from the teacher-i/c of the whole overseas trip thing (while she was asking us class chairpersons to settle some admin) that Thailand and China were totally overbooked, so the chances that those who chose the two would not be selected were pretty high. Even the teacher i/c of the Thailand trip said that literally half of the level put Thailand as one of their choices, but only 40 people can go for it.

But anyway, the list of people going for each trip was posted up today, and yeah I WAS ONE OF THE 40 SELECTED TO GO THAILAND!

You know I really feel so blessed by Abba. The last time I sowed for Miracle Seed Sunday, I sowed $10. Abba totally surpassed the 30-fold and 60-fold, and even 100-fold! Instead He blessed me with more than 150 times the amount of money I sowed, which is awesome!

I think the really awesome thing is that you are never too young to sow, and you are never too young to receive the awesome blessings our Daddy God has for us. And He even blesses us via things some people see as 'bad' - the lottery is well-known for causing many to become obsessed and lose lots of money via buying tickets, but because ALL things were created by God, He can even use that to bless us!

And it's really awesome because it's not like as though this trip is anything I NEED, but it's something I WANT, yet Abba Father blessed me so richly and abundantly with more than I need or could ever think of. :D

Truly He is mighty and awesome and loves us so so so so much! Even though it's well over half a year, I finally got my harvest from the seed I had sown, and truly it is a huge blessing to me and my family. :D:D:D

hi all.. seeing that this blog is kinda in a coma.. i will try to revive it..
anyway, today i was on my way to school in the morning.. normally i leave home late (i have the tendency to delay stuff) so always have heavy traffic

but yesterday i already got booked for being late for school (which i had no idea how.. cus i was sleeping in the car >.>) thats the 2nd booking (3rd then need to go detention) so. i dont want today cus of jam then book agn D:

so.. today got jam ! so i just prayed for god to help us "part the congested lane". then soon after the lane became smooth.. YEAH PRAISE GOD.. ya lo..
so wasnt late.. and today's exams were not scary to me cus i know daddy god will carry me thru these times of exams..i believe god will grant me good results ^^

everything i learnt.. he will activate my memory again during exam.. so all i have to do now is to revise and read trhu my notes for tmr's chemistry!

Sabrina - Thank you for the blog. What an AWESOME piece of work you've done. Also, for always VOLUNTEERING and EFFICIENTLY booking sufficient seats for all of us during Dare. I've never seen such a big heart that is always ready to run for his/her DG just to ensure they would have a comfortable seating for service. Thank you Sabby = )

Thaddeus - What a man of God we have in our DG. Someone whom I started off knowing his tendencies to speak undesirable stuffs out of his mouth without a second thought. Now, another MAJOR blessing to our DG - spreading the SMS news updates, volunteering to organise sports activities for our DG and even escorting Sean today from the main door to his seat for service! (I noticed that Thad ;) ). Thanks Thaddeus, you're awesome!

Wilfred - For serving in the DG as a birthday IC after hearing that actually DG needs servers too. What a big and ready heart to run and serve Jesus. Oh man, I can't wait to see the great and mighty things God is going to do through you Wilfred! Thank you = )

Although for some of you I typed a bit more, some lesser, it doesn't mean you are any more or less! Neither are the names listed according to rank! ALL of you have played important roles in making Extreme/Eoc what it is.

As your exams approach, I believe each and every one of you will receive a SPECIAL portion from the Lord because you have taken time and effort out to serve Him and love His people. God is not an unfaithful God. He shall meet the seeds you have sown, with a harvest of His blessings!!!! Amen!

Date: Saturday, 3 October 2009

Time: 10.30am–12pm

Venue: East Coast Park

Sign Up

On the right navigation bar under Updates, click on Water Baptism. This will bring you to the webpage with more information about water baptism.
On this webpage, click on the hyperlink “click here” to get to the registration form.
Complete the fields in the registration form. It is important to indicate under the “Are you from The Zone (Youth Ministry)?” field by selecting one of the options — DARE, Arrow or GenRev — so that you will be scheduled for the 10.30am baptism slot together with other The Zone youths. If you do not complete the above step, you will be automatically scheduled for another time slot and you may miss your DARE/Arrow service on the same day.
If you are under the age of 21, you will need your parent’s consent. You will be brought to another webpage containing a parent’s consent form. Print the consent form, get your parent to sign it and bring it along with you on 3 October 2009.
Registration closes on Thursday, 1 October 2009.

Transport

Shuttle buses will be provided to take you to the water baptism location.

Pick-up point: Expo MRT Station

Time: 10am sharp

After the water baptism, shuttle buses will take you to Suntec City where you can have lunch and then attend the DARE/Arrow service in the afternoon. If you are from GenRev, you can board a separate shuttle bus which will take you back to Expo MRT Station.

NOTE: For parents who are driving, they should refrain from sending their child(ren) to East Coast Park. They can park at the Singapore Expo and board the shuttle buses with their child(ren) if they wish to witness the baptism.

Attire

Come dressed in a dark-coloured T-shirt and a pair of shorts over your swimwear.

Things to bring

Bath towel
Toiletries
A change of clothes
Sunglasses or sunblock (optional)
Camera

Other things to note

Please make sure you are already wearing your swimwear under your clothes when you leave your home.
Please avoid bringing valuables.
If you are under the age of 21 years old, bring along your signed parent’s consent form.
If your parents are opposed to you being water baptised, or you were of Muslim faith before, please contact Coach Jos at 9731 5178.
Baptism certificates will be distributed through your DGL/CGL.

Programme flow

Board the shuttle bus that will take you from Expo MRT Station to East Coast Park.
Have your attendance taken at the Registration Counter.
Wait for your turn to be baptised.
Be baptised by a pastor.
Shower and change into dry clothes.
Board the shuttle bus to Suntec City/Expo MRT Station.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the water baptism be done by the sprinkling of water or by immersion?

The water baptism will be done by immersion. However, the water is shallow (only about knee-deep), so you do not need to know how to swim. It will be safe as we will have certified lifeguards on call nearby.

What if I really can’t make it for the water baptism on the appointed date and time because of…?

We encourage you to try your best to come on the appointed date and time. But if you really can’t make it, the church will schedule another date for water baptism, and you will be informed of the date via church announcements once the details have been finalised.

Can my loved ones and friends come on the shuttle bus and watch me getting water baptised?

Sure! Your friends and family members can come and share your joy. Just make sure that you indicate this when you are filling in the online registration form.

Will there be any sharing on water baptism before I am baptised?

There will not be any sharing on water baptism before the baptism begins. However, you will be given more information about water baptism when you are on the shuttle bus to East Coast Park.

What if it rains?

In the event of a light drizzle without any lightning, we will carry on with the water baptism.

Hey Beloved Extreme/EOC

I recall the days when I was in Secondary school and the feelings I had that school is reopening. The homework to be submitted.. the friends I am going to meet.. the teachers I will be facing.. picturing all the bad that may happen and longing for all the good to come.

As your own school is reopening tml, I wish to pray over all of you. May you be blessed coming in and going out. May you be blessed in your studies, may you be blessed in your CCA. May whatever you set your hands to do prosper. May you find favour with every single person you meet and be at the right place, at the right time experiencing many God moments.

I am believing with every single one of you that you will see MANY good days. Expect good because you are a child of God. As Deut28 has promised, whoever who comes against you in one way shall flee in SEVEN ways. = )

i m gonna miss my opportunity 2 perform at hwa chong institution bcoz of my right hand...:'(
i was just discharged from hospital ytd, friday was admitted. Now my right hand is in a cast and both my legs hurt from the injections that were worst than the p6 ones... they also pierced my left hand n injected antibiotics through there... it hurt, like sth burning... i hav 2 go back 2 the hospital nxt week right after my b'day. sigh... have 2 celebrate my b'day wif my right hand in a cast...T_T

Since there is no DARE this Sat 29 Aug, we are gonna have an outing! We are going to minds cafe. Whats that? The place is kinda like a cafe, just that it has MANY MANY MANY MANY different types of boardgames. So we could actually chill out there, eat, drink, play boardgames and have fun!!

Details: Meet 1.30pm @ Bugis MRT station. Outing ends at 6pm sharp and you need $10 for the games and drinks!

How many of us, for the sake of someone who is good, would actually give our life up for him or her?

Much less for someone who is unworthy, will anyone die for that person?

I do not know if any of you can agree with me. But for me, Jesus died for unworthy people like us. Who are we that is worthy enough for God to sacrifice His son? What have we done that is deserving enough for Jesus to suffer on the cross for us? Lets not even talk about all the things that we "should" be doing and the "good deeds we are able to do" of which, most of it, if not all, we haven't do.

Jesus gave His life for people who are undeserving, unworthy. If you are "so good", "so awesome", "so wonderful", "so perfect", why would you need Jesus?

So, thought for the day : Stop looking to yourself. Be it how lazy you are, how disobedient you are, how a rascal or brat you are or even how hopeless ppl think you are. Because as far as God is concern, as Jesus is, so are you. He sees you beautiful, He sees you lovely, He sees you adorable, He sees you wonderful. The bible even says, God loves you by singing over you.

Is your life on earth about what you have done or who you are? Nope. Its about Jesus and His love for you. Thats all it takes.

Just felt I wanna blog abt some thoughts I have, hope it blesses you beloveds. = )

Perfect Pot & Poor Cracked Pot……………

A water bearer in India had two large pots, each hung on each end of a pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it, and while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the master's house, the cracked pot arrived only half full. For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water in his master's house. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments, perfect to the end for which it was made. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do. After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the water bearer one day by the stream. "I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologize to you." "Why?" asked the bearer. "What are you ashamed of?" "I have been able, for these past two years, to deliver only half my load because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your master's house. Because of my flaws, you have to do all of this work, and you don't get full value from your efforts," the pot said. The water bearer felt sorry for the old cracked pot, and in his compassion he said, "As we return to the master's house, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path." Indeed, as they went up the hill, the old cracked pot took notice of the sun warming the beautiful wild flowers on the side of the path, and this cheered it some. But at the end of the trail, it still felt bad because it had leaked out half its load, and so again it apologized to the bearer for its failure. The bearer said to the pot, "Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of your path, but not on the other pot's side? That's because I have always known about your flaw, and I took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back from the stream, you've watered them. For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my master's table. Without you being just the way you are, he would not have this beauty to grace his house." Each of us has our own unique flaws. We are all cracked pots. But if we will allow it, the Lord will use our flaws to grace His Father's table. In God's great economy, nothing goes to waste. So as we seek ways to minister together, and as God calls you to the tasks He has appointed for you, don't be afraid of your flaws. Acknowledge them, and allow Him to take advantage of them, and you, too, can be the cause of beauty in His pathway. Out boldly, know that in our weakness we find His strength, and that "In Him every one of God's promises is a Yes".

Going through the Suntec Dance audition

Hey all,

I just wanted to post this cos' it's so cool :). Ya know? I didn't come to Dare yesterday cos' I was having a Dance audition at Suntec for the Suntec dance competition. Its my first competition and its quite a big one.There were 40 groups this year when usually only 20 groups will join and we were the youngest group ==.We only practiced for 3 days! Other groups either started training this January or last November. Our joker,Wesley tried to joke when our new coach asked us whether we wanted to join.He said,''Don't worry coach,we can do miracles''.Even though I knew he was making a joke,I still said amen and when the auditions were over, we were chosen!

So I guess I wanted to post this here as I thought this next sentence can teach somebody something.You just need to proclaim it and God will bless you with it as ALL things come with yes and amen!

Wait, I forgot to say something.Our group name was ''lost n found'' and Jesus was raised from the dead 3 days after his death and we only practiced for 3 days. So he was sort of lost n found so I felt this incident of my group going through the auditions was a ''God-incident''

How do we know God love us?

Whenever you miss the bus, woke up late for school, get bad results and etc, has the thought ever come to you that God don't love you anymore?

If you did. This is what the bible says. That IN THIS IS love. In what? That God sent Jesus to die for your sins. God's love for us is not judge on our daily circumstances or happenings. God's love for us is judge and PROVED at the cross when His own darling son hung there.

The person hanging there NAILED to the cross should be us. The person with the crown of thorns PIERCED through His temple should be us. The person carrying all sickness, diseases and pains should be us. But IN THIS, God showed and PROVED His love for us - that we go free but Jesus hangs there.

Dearly Beloveds, think about this with me for a moment...

You would never ever know how much God loves you until you know how much God loves Jesus, because He gave Jesus up for you.
